Q: My new manager asked me to provide all the NT4 domain user group list, and all of its users. He also asked me to provide all the files on the server list, and who has file access permissions. I know this is a huge task. Is there any tool that can help me just to complete this task?
A: Although there is a lot to help you list all domain users and groups of procedures (in tucows.com or download.com on the Quick Search you can find), but the NT server, listing all the files may result in hundreds of pages of the file name, I think your manager will not be read one by one.
If you want to browse all the company data file, you can root directory of your data using a simple DOS commands can be easily "capture" all the files. Suppose c: data is the list of documents you want the directory, then in the DOS environment (window), the go to c:, and enter 'dir / s "data"> listing.txt'.
This command will output the result written to the listing.txt file, so you can view or print.
